DIAR.com's Monthly News Archive goes back to 1 January 1997, and is designed to help corporate or academic researchers quickly obtain historical information on key Defence industry issues and announcements.
The Monthly News Archive is compiled from accumulaltions of the contents of past issues of the Weekly DIAR.com e-Newsletter, which is forwarded to over 3000 individual and corporate subscribers each week.

Since 1997 DIAR.com has been compiled into annual searchable indexes using the html format, examples of which for the period through to the election of the Rudd Labor Government can be sampled by clicking on the left-hand menu tabs. This service is now being re-compiled using more recent technology and is being offered from March 2009 as the DIAR.com 'ON-LINE @ Your Office' CD. For a limited period the old html-based archive will be supported until the new PDF service is fully established. How to use the legacy DIAR.com html-based archive
Go to the year of interest and then select the Edit > Find in Page function in your web browser. Enter 'key words' such as project titles or company names to help locate the information you require.
